Hey, Friends! Popping in really quickly to show you our fall mantel! This year, I’ve really tried to simplify my seasonal decorating. Taking everything down and completely redoing my decorations for each season was beginning to become a chore. All of the Pinterest perfect decorations around the internet are inspiring, but so.much.work. I love decorating and wanted to bring back the joy, so I have been trying to simplify and find ways to incorporate seasonal decor easily, using what we already have out every day.
You may notice, the base arrangement of vases and books are the decor I typically have out on the mantel. I simply switched out the florals for fall leaves and added the banner and thankful sign to bring it into the fall season. It only took a few minutes and was much more enjoyable than spending hours upon hours laboring to figure out the best and most perfect arrangement.
I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but ever since Little Man gave me the large, white vases for Christmas last year, I have left them up and used them as my anchors, simply switching out the florals. It simplifies the entire process so much!
So, that’s my message to you all! Go simple and don’t being a perfectionist. Those Pinterest perfect houses aren’t real anyway. Don’t lose the fun of seasonal decorating! ***steps off soapbox*** 😉
