Hi, Friends! Hope you all had a great week! Our October was super crazy, so I’m just now getting a chance to give you a fall home tour. Whomp Whomp. Better late than never, though, right? C’mon in!
You can see right away that I decided to go with mostly neutral fall decor again this year. Little known fact about me… I hate the color orange. Love it in nature, like on pumpkins and leaves, but I don’t want it in my house. I’ve tried to go the traditional fall route many years, but finally gave myself the freedom to go neutral. I love it so much–no regrets!
On the mantel, I kept my vases of lambs ear and cotton the same, but switched out my usual sea glass pieces for some blue and white pumpkins. I found these two pumpkins at Home Goods for cheap! I wish I had purchased a couple more!
Another new find this year is the lambs ear fall garland. I took a chance on it from Amazon despite a bad review and the $17 price tag and I absolutely love it! It goes perfectly on the mantel and was worth the cost!
On the other end of the mantel, I picked up the blue pumpkin from TJ Maxx and the woven pumpkin from Target. I love the texture of the woven one! It came with two big tassels, but I prefer a simpler look, so I cut those off.
I kept things really simple over on the built-in this year and love how it turned out!
The plant is one I grabbed from the play room shelves (originally from Kirklands) and the little pumpkins are Target Dollar Spot finds from previous years.
My bestie gifted me this adorable gather bucket last year and I had fun filling it with little velvet pumpkins. The velvet pumpkins are another Target Dollar Spot find from previous years.
On the shelf above one side of the sectional, I just switched out a picture for this cutie pumpkin art I found on a trip with my friends to Smith Mountain Lake this year. It’s adorable and I love that it reminds me of our annual lake trips together!
I made an exception for some orange on the end table in the living room. I just love this picture frame and that cutie picture of my babies one year at the pumpkin patch! Why are they so much bigger now?!?! The pumpkin jar is a DIY from a couple years ago.
The entry stayed the same as previous years. I really love this look, so I left it alone! 😉
I gave a full fall dining room tour a couple weeks ago, but in case you missed it, here’s our dining room decked out for fall!
It’s so fun to have shelves in here now to deck out for the holidays! I’m already brainstorming what to do for Christmas!
In the breakfast nook, I tweaked my planters just a bit to add a darker pottery piece and a couple little pumpkins. Subtle, but sweet.
My kids got so excited when they saw all the pumpkins and fall decor! But, they decided they needed more orange, haha! I wonder where they get their big design opinions from… 😉 I added a couple orange pumpkins to the playroom shelves and they were as happy as a lark!
Hope you enjoyed the tour! Have a great weekend!
