Happy New Year, Everyone! I hope you all have had a wonderful Christmas and are rested and ready to tackle 2017!
My blogger friend Jenny from Refresh Living had the great idea to do a bloghop showcasing our top 5 posts of 2016 according to pageviews, as well as our top 5 posts that we loved but that just didn’t get as much traffic as we had hoped. So, here’s your favorite posts of 2016 followed by my favorite posts that didn’t get quite as much traffic!

Haverty’s Corey Sectional Review
I’m so glad this one has done well! When we were looking for sectionals, the Corey was new, so there were no reviews on it yet. I’m so happy this post has helped some of you fellow sectional shoppers!

How to Make Your Own Lettered Wood Sign and How to Frame a Wood Sign
I know I lumped two posts into one spot, but they are from the same project and go hand in hand! Our sign is one of my favorite DIY projects to date and really is much easier to make than you think!

Star Wars Bedroom Reveal and Starry Eyed
I was thrilled that our Star Wars room reveal topped the list! Little Man’s Star Wars room is one of my favorite projects ever and one that I am the most proud of. It really pushed me outside of my comfort zone and the payoff was totally worth it! The post about how we created the outer space ceiling was right up there with the reveal as far as pageviews!
And now for the “flops”! I wouldn’t really call these flops, they just didn’t hit the top 5 on the popularity list. 😉

Backyard Makeover
Our backyard makeover posts aren’t the most beautiful posts in the world. But, the new backyard is hands down the best thing we have done to our house to date. Having a flat, usable, fenced yard is a-maz-ing! We are so thankful! I can’t wait until spring so we can do the landscaping and really pretty it up!

Anthropologie Inspired Ikea Play Kitchen Hack
Of all of the things I’ve ever painted, this is one of my absolute favorites! And a year later, I’m still glad that I didn’t paint the high traffic wood areas like I originally wanted. It never would have held up to all the kitchen play it’s gotten! Simple is the best solution!
Hope you enjoyed a look back at 2016 with me! Be sure to check out all the other faves and flops in our bloghop! It’s so fun to see what was popular!
