Whenever I come across a product I love, an inspiring space, a great blogger, something funny, etc, I add it to a running note on my phone to share with you. I’ve accumulated quite the list and wanted to share some of the things from my list with you today for a little weekend reading! Enjoy!
-We love playing cards with the kids, but their hands are too little to hold many cards at once. We bought Little Man this card holder for his Christmas stocking, unsure if it would really work. It is boss! It holds the cards well and is easy for Little Man to use. Little Girlie ended up being able to use it, too, so we got a second one for her! We love it and it makes playing Go Fish a breeze!
-Oh my word, I laughed so hard at this! Please, if you’re a soon to be bride, do this!! Haha!
-I have terrible eczema on my hands, so am always on the hunt for a good lotion. I just want to be able to wear rings, is that too much to ask?! I have tried so.many.kinds.of.lotion! Most start out great and stop working about 2/3 of the way through the bottle. One I have found that I keep going back to, that doesn’t sting, and doesn’t stop working is Trader Joes Coconut Body Butter. If feels so good, smells great, and is 1/3 of the price of The Body Shop Body Butter I love!
I also just tried Bath and Body Works new line of ultra nourishing skin care and love it so far! It smells soooo good and keeps your hands moisturized for a long time! I tried both the Cocoshea lotion and body butter and love them both, but the lotion surprisingly has a little bit of a leg up on the body butter. Good stuff!
-I am obsessed with peanut butter so, naturally, Reese’s are my favorite candy. As you can imagine, I flipped when I saw these granola cups at the store! They are a cross between a granola bar and a Reese’s. My new favorite breakfast!
-I’ve loved Studio McGee for a long time, but only recently discovered their YouTube channel. Talk about inspiration!!! I can’t get enough!
-As a blogger, one of the things that makes me the most excited is when you all see my posts, get inspired to tackle a space in your own home, then come back and share your projects with me! Nicole P. messaged me and shared that she had seen my Star Wars Room post and since her boyfriend is a huge Star Wars fan and their son’s middle name is Solo after Hans Solo, she decided to do a Star Wars room for their little guy! Didn’t she do an amazing job?! Thank you so much for sharing, Nicole! You made my day! So glad your little man loves his room!

-Kristi from Making it in the Mountains always has amazing projects and inspiring spaces! I was blown away by two of her recent projects– her wooden cake stand and her scrap wood monogram. I LOVE them! Didn’t she do an amazing job?! If you aren’t already following her, go do it! 🙂
