I’ve been talking a lot about table decor on the blog lately! First, I showed you how to create effortless everyday centerpieces, then I rounded up some of my favorite table runners from around the web. Today, I’m going to show you how to build on your everyday centerpiece to gussy up your table for a pretty spring look or a special Easter dinner!
My inspiration for my table decor was this floral table runner that I featured in my table runner post! It is so beautiful and just perfect for spring!
The runner was just begging to be paired with some pink tulips, don’t you think? I used this long wooden box to corral Dollar Tree vases full of tulips for my centerpiece! The tulips were only $10 for 20 stems at Trader Joe’s! That’s a pretty incredible price!
To make things extra special, I paired the runner with silver chargers and black and white striped napkins. I love the graphic element the stripes add to the table! Little Girlie helped me add a single tulip stem to each place setting to “make it fancy”. I love that she loves decorating with me! 🙂
I am so obsessed with all these tulips! They are some of my favorite flowers!
I love that after Easter dinner, I can just put the place settings away and it becomes an everyday table look!
